Phoenix Singers ... Who we are ...
Our motto is 'friendly people singing together' and our aim is to make great music for everyone to enjoy. Come and visit us and find out what we do. We meet at the Hayle Day Centre, Commercial Road, Hayle. TR27 4DE, on Tuesday evenings from 7.30. Your first 'taster' session is FREE!
It is a scientific fact that singing is good for you.
Take up a new hobby and reap the physical and mental health benefits of singing with a friendly group of like minded people. Now is a great time to join us.
A lack of musical knowledge is no barrier but a love of singing and a commitment to learn and perform with us is key. Newcomers are always welcome to come along for a free taster session – but be warned, singing with us is addictive and you will want to join! We are always keen to welcome new voices, especially bass and tenors.
If you would like to book us for a concert, fete, wedding or private function do contact us to arrange a date. We have over 20 members but we can arrange a smaller group of singers to suit any venue.

What we did in 2018
FABRUARY was our first concert of the year with singer Bailey Tomkison, Gwel-Trencrom Singers and the Culdrose Military Wives.
G4, with Mary-Jess, again invited Phoenix to sing with them at the St. Ives Guildhall on 15th March 2018. The auditorium was packed with enthusiastic fans and once again we loved being part of a brilliant concert.
Concerts at Treloyhan Manor Hotel, Towednack Church, and the ever popular St. Ives Food and Drink Festival followed, then Phoenix 'rocked the harbour' every Tuesday evening during the summer holidays. We had fantastic audiences and raised loads of money for charity. It was a brilliant summer!
December brought an outdoor performance for the lighting of the St. Ives Christmas tree, then the Memory Cafe invited us to entertain their members at their Christmas lunch party when we presented them with a cheque for £700.00 - donations collected at our summer concerts. We had a fantastic Phoenix Party night at the Western Hotel and finished the Christmas season with a festive concert at the Balnoon Inn.
